Peter Tosh
A founding member of the Wailers, Peter Tosh was a Jamaican singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose militant lyrics gave the group much of its political edge. He left to pursue a solo career in the mid-1970s, becoming an outspoken voice for civil rights and Rastafari. The cited sources record him as a Jamaican reggae singer and musician.
