Sui Generis

Sui Generis was the acoustic duo of Charly García and Nito Mestre, formed while they were still students in Buenos Aires. Their early albums fused folk-rock delicacy with sharp, sometimes censored social commentary, and they became one of the most beloved acts of the early 1970s. The group dissolved in 1975 with a pair of farewell concerts at the Luna Park arena that drew enormous crowds.
