Manal (album)

Manal's 1970 debut album was the first sustained statement of Spanish-language blues-rock in Argentina. Its songs of city nights and working-class Buenos Aires showed how an imported idiom could be rewritten in local terms. Alongside the early records of Los Gatos and Almendra, it helped define the sound of rock nacional's first wave.
