"No UFO's"

Written and produced by Juan Atkins as Model 500, "No UFO's" was issued in 1985 as the first release on his new Metroplex label. Its stripped, propulsive electronic funk and its sardonic refusal of spectacle helped define what the word techno would come to mean. The record is frequently cited as a foundational text of the genre.
