Model 500 — "No UFO's / Future" (single)

The 1985 single "No UFO's / Future" was the inaugural release on Metroplex and the first record Juan Atkins made entirely on his own as Model 500. It marked the moment Detroit techno acquired a label, a catalogue and an identity distinct from electro. The pressing is treated by collectors and historians as the genre's founding artifact.
