Eddie "Flashin" Fowlkes

A friend of the Belleville circle and an early Metroplex artist, Fowlkes is often counted among the founding generation of Detroit techno. His soulful, house-leaning productions and his "techno-soul" tag pushed the city's machine music toward warmth and groove. He kept performing and recording as the scene globalized through the 1990s.
