Jamie Principle

Jamie Principle is the Chicago house musician whose songwriting gave the scene some of its most enduring vocal melodies. Born in 1960, he wrote and demoed material that circulated on tape through the city's DJ booths long before it was commercially pressed. His compositions, championed by Frankie Knuckles, became dancefloor standards.
