Adonis

Adonis is the Chicago acid house producer, born in 1963, who built some of the era's heaviest, bass-driven tracks. Working in the same Trax Records orbit as his peers, he leaned into deep, distorted low end and stripped arrangements. His 1986 single "No Way Back" became a foundational acid-leaning anthem.
